As parents, Anita really helped us shift our focus from pointing out the negatives to finding the strengths in our children. We are working on encouraging and speaking words of life, instead of tearing down. Proverbs 18:21 puts it this way: “The tongue has the power of life and death.” Your words can either speak life, or your words can speak death. Our tongues can build others up, or they can tear them down. As Anita shared with us, it was obvious that she had much wisdom. She was very patient in coaching and directing us. We are so thankful for the time she invested in us, to help us change the course of our lives through our words and seeing the strengths of our children.

(1) Have an in-depth understanding about my top 5 key strengths and it also enhances the awareness of my daily actions and decisions, how are they being influenced by my key strengths and how my strengths can be further developed. Going forward, I would also like to know more applicable skills in showing my strengths so that I can be more impactful in my workplace and in different relationships. (2) Past 6 sessions was a “know myself better” journey by identifying my yearning and desire, knowing that I am the kind of person that yearning to love and to be loved, and it is also my desire in this season to receive more love from God and my closest relationships. I learnt how to show my needs and set healthy boundaries in relationships. More importantly, I know Father’s heart better, how he showed his love in past few months was something I treasured the most! I hope this journey will be continued in coming days. (3) Be vulnerable and authentic in past 6 sessions is something that surprised me too since the trust that we built in such short period of time really gave me a lot of safety to open up myself in this transformational journey. Anita, your trust, love, support and assurance on me is deeply appreciated.

A gentle kind mothering spirit can bring anyone to their best. Someone who is patient and trustworthy who takes that extra step and extra time to love you as you are can cause the beauty within you to bloom. There’s a rose in us all. Anita was an answer to prayer!
To be honest, I wasn’t looking for a mentor or coach at the time Anita came into my life. I had actually given up on pursuing all of that because I had been disappointed or disillusioned in the past. At that point in my life I was just trusting that God would bring the right person at the right time. He’s so funny how He works sometimes. Anita definitely came in a different package than I was expecting. I have an intense personality with intense emotions and a wide spectrum of ideas and vision, so I’m not necessarily everyone’s cup of tea we’ll just say. So I was a little nervous since Anita’s personality and demeanor was so opposite of mine, if it would be a good fit. But God knew. Her gentle and soft approach was exactly what my heart needed. She gave me the space I needed to process life, thoughts and ideas, and just be myself without feeling judged or invalidated. In other relationships I felt I had to preform, or I would worry that I would end up being “too much” for people and that they would leave. Throughout this past year Anita has truly been a genuine mother figure in my life. She was able to handle all my ups and downs & was able to see through all my messiness and still love, encourage and guide me in that process. She has been instrumental in some of my most impactful breakthrough I have had this past year and I am beyond grateful for that. I am so thankful for her heart to serve Jesus and others by sharing her time and giftings with those He leads her to. I first came to Anita feeling like I was failing in a lot of areas in my life. I remember walking into the session like I was walking into the cloud of peace. I started to be able to focus better the moment she sat me down. She started to ask me really good questions and she did not just give me the correct answers like I was used to be told. She affirms me along the way and cheer me on as I make any improvement ! She helped me realize what makes me come alive and encourage me to spend my energy on those things.
